Lazy teachers are worse than lazy students.  People will be surprised at how many teachers just google the topics in their syllabus and print out class notes from other schools and just hand it to their students.  Some go the extra mile and read said notes without explaining concepts because they either don't know or don't care.

All that being said, EVERY student should be capable of learning by themselves, there is enough resources available online that there is really no excuse for not knowing something.

That is some crazy hypothetical that does not apply to most kids in developed countries.  If someone has a true learning disability obviously they are expected to learn and produce results at their own pace.  The average high school flunky has no disability, has access to the internet before and after school, most public libraries do not close till 7-9pm on weekdays.  There are also this things called books? you can take them from the library for about a month at a time and read them as many times as you'll like.

Your weird hypothetical probably applies to 0.1% of school aged children.

I'm not sure what so crazy about a child being dyslexic.  Many children in rural areas, don't have readily access to internet usage.

5% of people are dyslexic and depending on the publication 80-95% of people have access to broadband internet.

anywhere between 0.25% to 1% of Americans are dyslexic with no internet access.  This does not mean they have zero access to the internet or lack access to books.  Trying to go extremes to make a point kinda defeats the purpose of having most discussions, stop doing it.
