Hi Everyone,

I have tried so many combinations that I don't know what to do.

Vapon - burned my hairline
Ghost Bond - itched like crazy and gave me itchy bumps and blisters
Hollister - Never works without another liquid adhesive
Davlyn - No strong hold
Secure - No strong hold
Invisibond - Not longer than a day

I use all of these in combination with super tape.  I want to try Blue Liner, however I cannot stand how gooey/gummy it gets...Please help!!!

Thank you all!

Walker No Shine made me itch something serious.  But, I am wearing supertape with Invisibond now.  Although I pretty much have to bond my unit daily with invisibond, I don't have an itch.  I have alopecia, so I need to wear my units at least a week between washings.

Any other ideas other than those listed in the poll?

I use the skin protector spray in the red and white bottle.  It's weird how my skin is now reacting to some of these adhesives.  I realllllly need some great combo.  Ghost Bond is like school glue.  Anyone try ultra hold?

I don't see Perma Rite #1 Plus on this list.  Therefore, I am unable to vote.

^^^^^This. I've been using it for over 2 1/2 years. I've tried others but always come back to Perma Rite #1 Plus

Glueless wigs.

Then have you tried Ms Lola's?  That's usually the best to start with.

PermaRite #1 Plus if that doesn't work

Nufsayd is an expert on adhesives for sensitive skin

I started using Perma Rite back in April 2009 when Hather first posted on BHM about this adhesive. A little goes a long way. I've only purchased it twice. The first time I think I spent $140 for 4oz and it lasted over 2 years. Since that time I have tried other adhesives, i.e. ghost bond but always go back to Perma Rite plus #1. When I first purchased it and paid the high price it was because I  had recently had a breakout with itching from one of the adhesives that I was using and wanted something for sensitive skin.  Perma Rites gives me the best and longest hold that I have found. And since I've started using it I have not   had a break out or itching from this adhesive. A few months ago I purchased the 2oz bottle for $51. It's worth it for me. I've found the adhesive that works best for me, although I occasionally try others when there is a band wagonLOL
