Will you be a rigid disciplinarian or a free like Will and Jada.
I'm sure there is middle ground though.

How would you handle scenarios like sex or clothing or friends.

rigid. But I also do want my children to think. I want them to explain their thoughts and what were they thinking whenever they do something so that I can understand where their behavior is coming from.

I think I am in the middle. I want my son to be comfortable enough to talk to me about anything but I also want him to understand that I am his mother, not his friend.

I have no idea how I handle the sex talk

I've met too many emotionally retarded men to think being strict is a good idea.
I'm a very open minded person...the only I won't accept is disrespect.
I'd tell my children that perception is everything.....how they want people to view them is how they should display themselves.

my dh will be the disciplinarian...he's much stricter than i am.

he did get shook the yesterday when my sister went up to him and asked him what a condom wasLOL
he was like uhm...you're gonna have to talk to your sister about that

I remember reading on a mommy blog that parents were no longer giving their kids rules because they wanted them to think on their own and deal with the consequences on their own
 
idk if i could do that
i believe kids need some type of structure
