Ladies I am sooo excited because my mom showed me how she wears the wigs I bought her and she has NEVER glued it and I kept wondering how hers looked so flat and growing from her scalp without gluing down. I had been using wig combs for the last couple months and my edges and baby hair has grown back beautifully but anyway...she uses Elastic that u can buy from Walmart for $1.87 and u cut off about 4 inches or so and just sew each end right up under the ear or lower and I even sew a comb on each side for EXTRA security but it will be so flat and tight u really dont need it. No slipping, no sliding, no glue, workout with no fear, swim, take off EVERY night if u want and switch wigs very easily! I wish I had better pics but I PROMISE U IT LOOKS LIKE U GLUED IT DOWN!

this sounds very promising.. I'm getting sick of the glue and tape and the trial and error that comes along with it. Is there any way that you could make a tutorial or step by step instructions with pics?

This could be a major breakthrough alternative to glue/tape. Please provide more pics and step by step instructions.

I will try and make a tutorial for u. I promise u it is soooo easy til its not even funny. The elastic comes in one long piece so u just cut about 4 or 5 inches off and you are working on the inside of the wig. I place one end of the elastic about an inch or two below the ear and stitch and the same for the other side and voila! So simple u will be amazed and believe it or not u would think that the back would bunch up in the back but it doesnt. It lays down but u can still choose to pin it if u like. I can wear ponies with ease because the hair MLY matches my own and it is really wonderful...No fuss, No muss! Here is a pic>>>
