I've strayed, however I'm back!

Been low carbing for a week. Goal is to stay below 25g's of carbs for a month. Ordered a gang of supplies from here: http://www6.netrition.com/low_carb_products_page.html
I'm excited to get some low carb pita pockets and hoagie buns!!

this thread is exactly what i need right now..

on a diet (not for weightloss ftr) in which i have to avoid almost all carbs and sugar…

i took out some ground beef some days ago.. it'll go bad if i dont cook it or refreeze.
im trying to figure out what i can make with it that doesnt involve carbs.. like usually id think tacos or mix it with rice or something…

any ideas?
ill google too.. and skim this thread when i have time.
seems like mixing it with some greens is like the only option.. or just a serving of ground beef next to some veggis Sleepy

Make taco meat and use low car tortillas. Hamburger patties, or a huge meatloaf style log filled with cheese.

I think i am going to try this tomorrow.  I need something I can stick with and this seems very doable. I love meat and eggs. I'm almost certain my sugar/carb addiction is my issue. I dont over eat, at all, I just eat the wrong things.

It's entirely manageable if you know what to shop for and where to find it.
I'm eating a sandwich with homemade low-carb bread for lunch now. For breakfast I had bacon, eggs and low carb waffles topped with sugar-free syrup.

The website I posted has some great stuff. I recently bought low-carb BBQ sauce, pita pockets, and hoagie buns. As soon as I figure out a good french fry substitute, I'm in bid-ness!

Thanks Tru, I've been working on a little cheat sheet for my gocery shopping.

I also have to work on prepping.   I never get up early enough to make breakfast or lunch so i end up with something carby.

I completely pigged out last night knowing I would start today.

Didn't get up early enough/ plan anything for breakfast, so I just had coffee(no sugar or sugar substitute,  very little non dairy creamer and it actually wasn't horrible). I usually only eat two meals/day so I will go out and get something bunless for lunch.  I took out steaks for dinner tonight. :)
