Na, many low-carb foods are high in fiber to offset the carbohydrates. A high fiber diet will help keep your pipes flowing smooth.
The breath, yea well, that's when you know your body has entered a state of ketosis. You'll have a metallic like taste on your tongue. Nothing a lil Listerine can't handle.
