Since I watch tv for entertainment purposes only, I must be enlightened to the Balant racist undertones that this black sheep doesn't see....so explain: Christina yang(Asian) married to the isiah Washington Chief webber married to Adele webber (black) although he spent years in an affair with mer's mom a white lady he is now in a relationship with another successful black women dr Avery Miranda Bailey-married and divorced a black man who was unsupportive to her career is now married to another black man who loves her child and is supportive while trying to better himself Jackson Avery and his relationships
Sam with Addison, Sam with Naomi, Sam with the other obgyn Naomi with Sam Naomi with archer Naomi with the stem cell dr
Finally Olivia pope, Olivia pope with Edison and Olivia pope with
Let me know something
Obviously I'm being facetious.....shonda has a myriad of black characters in relationships ...so why are all these random people coming out of rotten wood trying to spoil the fun

You don't like the book or show, then don't read or watch--why does the show have to cater to you? Why can't people just tell a friggin' story? Meanwhile, in reality, no one's going in on illegal activities and daily slayings. I guess it's easier to condemn fantasy than to deal with reality? Ridic. Oh, and Starr--don't worry 'bout the show, focus on why you look like Voldemort now; THAT sh*t is the real crime here... |

there is a black "negro bedwench" mistress twist to the show....in one of the 1st
episodes Olivia even compared herself and Fitz to Thomas Jefferson and Sally
Hemings lolol....but the show is cool to me...I like the concept of her having her own law firm and solving mysteries...now im tired of the whole affair part of the show but I know its mostly for women viewers
| I was actually surprised by this bold reference except Jefferson raped his slave who was his wife's half sister.
That was smart of Shonda.

its just a show to me.
Question to BHM: do you think Shonda Rhimes could put a ALL BLACK cast on a network have it be JUST AS SUCCESSFUL AS Scandal?
side note: Edison is one handsome fella!

You mean a drama? Probably not. White audiences don't like to see blacks
in serious roles without whites in a cast. If it's all black, it must
be a joke (comedy) like Tyler Perry's shows.
