Hello all,

This thread is in reference to this thread: http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=165339&KW=Squeen+waist+cincher

This is the Squeem I purchased: http://www.galapagosboutique.com/Latex-Waist-Cincher-p/squ-26c.htm

My Squeem finally came in the mail (after 3 days from Galapagosboutique.com), and I must say that I am impressed. I know each experience with these Squeems are individual and different, so here's my experience.

As soon as the packagae arrived, I put the Squeem on LOL. Some of you may know that I get severe back pains from the ergonomic chairs at my job (Ermm), and I was interested in the back compression and support benefits the Squeem offered. Once the Squeem was applied, I IMMEDIATELY felt a difference. My posture immediately improved (I was strutting like a duck lol), and I could feel the pressure from my middle and lower back began to alleviate. It also instently reduces 3 inches off my waistline taking me from a 27 to a 24.

COMFORT - The Squeem is very comfortable. I wore it for 11 hours on the first day (only removing to shower), and it didn't give me any major problems at all. I even wore it under my dress to my office's Christmas party LOL...dancing til I sweat, and I had not a single problem with the Squeem. It is very comfortable. Today is my second day wearing the item. I've had it on for about 8 hours ( I slept in late...that Zinfindel ia no joke Confused), and I hardly notice it's application at all. While sitting, it does require that you sit upright, improving your posture.  Slouching causes the material to buckle inwards pressing into your stomach. That does not feel goot atall atall tall tall tall...

I did, however, experience a bit of discomfort on my ribcage underneath my breasts from where the piping pressed into my skin. This was relieved by adding small bits of bathroom tissue...or simply pulling the garment down half an inch. It's perfect now.

SIZE - I purchased sizes S and XS. I tried on the small first, and I got it into the seond loops with no problem at all. The item was too large, and slid down. I returned it (hassle free to Galapagos...they sent a return slip), so I'm currently wearing the XS int he first row of loops. It wasn't difficult to put on (I am strong, though LOL), so there was no major grunting and fighting and turning trying to put it on lol.

APPEARANCE - With certain materials, the Squeem is noticeable under clothing. However, by adding a t-chirt or wearing thicker material, the Squeem is unnoticeable. This thing RAISES your boobs up an inch (pr maybe 2" lol), and the effect is noticeable. I don't guess that'sa bad thing...

MEASUREMENTS
Before:
32
27
36

I pulled the dress tightly in the back to show the drastic difference LOL. This dress is made of a slinky-like cottony material. It is form fitting, and is now too large with the Squeem applied. You can also see the squeem through the dress material. However, in a regular button-down arrow blouse, the Squeem is not visible.Nop Squeem here.

After
32
24
36

Same dress, still pulled tightly in the back. You can really see the bumpiness of the Squeem (this is still noticeable with the dress not pulled). I must admit...I sort of feel like a porn star (boom chicka wah-waaaaaao).

Another blouse. See the bumps?

In all, this really helps with my back pains. I tried sleeping in it because my back also hurts when I am lying down, but I had to take it off. The constant "forcing" of my body to maintain an upright position wasn't comfortable for sleeping to me at all. Perhaps that's because I like to ball up in a circle like a centipede when I sleep.  At any rate, I would recommend this item if you've got annoying backaches. My back does still hurt, but nowhere near as much as it did before using the Squeem. It's also beneficial if you want to yeng a few inches off your waist line lol.

Thanks for all the details, I have one myself and I can see a difference. It has gotten more comfortable over time. When I started wearing it the first couple of nights I had to take it off in the middle of the night. Now its no problem. I wear it to work, since our office is a freezer box I keep on my jacket so its all good. Nice shape lady. I am working on mine.

Looks awesome!!!! although you completely don't need on IMO, lol

to avoid the hooks showing through  the  front I fasten mine on the side....it takes some practice though! I've also found that by fastening it to the side you get less of that weird distributing the fat to the front thing that it does.

I love my squeems...I have the wasit cincher as well as the vest.  I mostly waist train with my steel boned corset though since its winter and I can get away w/more layers.

^ I forgot to add that part, Samone.

I can still breathe normally with this applied. I can take deep breaths and whatnot and, well, let's just say that I got on something wicked on the dance floor last night, and my breathing remained the same. They should make these with a section in the back to apply a heating pad. Now THAT would be mint.

I'm using it for the back compression, but I knew the folks on BHM were also interested in the way it looks when applied. I've tried just about everything for back support, but something that would be attached to me. I'm hoping this helps with the pain. If not, I'm runnig out of options.

I like the hooking it on the side idea. Creative! Steel-boned sounds painful. Is it? Are the bones really, really hard, or do they flex?

They just fixed the heater in my office. It's a sauna now. I guess that means I'll be wearing my hair in canerows because a curl won't hold, especially if I'm gonna be sweating in this Squeem. Good luck on your shape!!!
