Okay so I brought some spring twist hair ( not the eon hair another brand) today and I am not getting that bouncy springy look at the ends.  What I'm getting looks like a cross between a nubian twist and kinky twist....it looks nothing like the photo's i've seen. This is my first time trying this hair and I've never had this style  professionally done either.   I just assumed that the ends would kinda curl up on their own if I added a little gel as I twist, but they do not.  Do I have to roll up the ends of this hair and dip??    Maybe I should have just got the Eon hair.....

I got the eon hair and I tried a couple of practice twists on it and it did look bouncy...but it looked nothing like the pic on the brochure. I called the company that offers an instructional video but the lady told me the video would not be available for awhile...

I tried with the Eon hair - and it did not come out the way the pics looked.

So - I am stumped.

Do you want the ends like mine?

Me and my Mom just put in my spring twist. I ordered the hair from E-On hair. I think we did pretty good for not ever doing any type of braid or twist before. I think in a few weeks if they stay in tact I will have them done by a professional. The hair is light and not itchy so that is a plus. You can view the pics in my fotki.

Is E-on the only place you can find the spring twist hair?

I think Eonhair.com is the only place to get it.  I have checked almost all the local supply stores here in Richmond, VA.  Some of them have other types of hair sold by eon, but they don't carry the spring twist.  Eon doesn't have 1B/30 and has not idea when they will receive it.  I get my hair done Saturday.  I guess I will have to use the the marley hair that I normally use.Stern%20Smile

San,

Who does your hair?  I see you're in VA and if you're not in Southern VA, I will travel to get hair done.
