say what you want, but I was wondering if you all have used spray sealant on cheap jewelry?

I have used clear nail polish and it works but I was wondering about using spray sealant for pieces where clear nail polish won't work

if all you own is silver and gold and such......this thread isn't for you lol

well at least I hope you aren't putting clear nail polish on your good stuff Stern Smile

I use to use nail polish but now i use the spray on my costume jewelry. A little goes a long way. Spray from a distance in a sweeping motion and in layers....

My former roommate put me on this trick a few years ago, and it worked. It's a hell of a lot easier, and less tedious than the nail polish trick too.

I've been slacking tho and have had to throw away some cute stuff.

Warning, the fumes are ridiculous!

You can get the Krylon, or there's another one called Rustleon or something like that. I noticed no difference between the two.

Yes ma'am thats the spray. I will say that for pieces that include fake gems or what not like this...to rub a bit if vaseline on the gem to prevent the spray from sticking. I find that sometimes the spray can make them look glossy
