The market rent in my area is 850 and up. You can find a few under that but you have to look for specials and look hard but they are there.

My rent is twice some people's mortgages in other states. NYC is ridiculous. I have a big apartment tho. Im looking into places to move when my lease is up.

My first apartment was a 2 bedroom duplex townhouse in WNY, $600. I had to pay electric, lol everything was electric. No roommate. Beautiful

About $1200 for a one bedroom. But I've always lived in 2 & 3 so I'm just going off local listings I've seen

It depends. Rent has been going up in Houston. Depending on what part of town, because it's huge, a decent one could start from $650-850..nicer ones in the 9s and then a lot of the "luxury" loft kinds with parking garages and indoor hallways, and more than 3 stories (none of these are common for most TX apt complexes) start around 1200

In most north texas suburbs you could find a decent 1 bedroom in the 600's

A good one will cost you 700+
Agree. 700-800ish. Uptown/Downtown I noticed were 900+ starting off for studios

I just moved back to Miami...need I say more?

Rent is RIDICULOUS here. When I was researching before moving back, I was coming across EFFICIENCIES that were $800. I will definitely be cutting back here.

I just moved here from Tallahassee. My decent one bedroom was only $515 a month, pool but no gym.
