Ricky, waving Smile.  You make me want to find my stash, and fix hominy in a few hours.

My Grandma was an excellent cook, and my Mom is an excellent cook. Grandma owned a restaurant in Jamaica, and Mom and Grandma taught me to cook.  TBH I loved just about everything they fixed, which is 92% Jamaican food.  Too many to list, I will list a few.

Curry Goat
Conch Soup
Curry Chicken
Corn Beef & Rice (Bully Beef)
Stew Peas
Ackee & Saltfish
Banana Porridge
Hominy Porridge
Sepitary (An Uncle named this dish that Grandma created)
Rum Cake
Beef Soup
Fish Tea
Jerk Pork
Jerk Chicken
Beef Patties
Callaloo
Authentic Jamaican Rum Punch
Oxtail
Crab
Lobster
Fish

As far as my mom........she made me taco's.  And considering that I was raised in Cali in east LA and Pasadena.  She made real messican taco's.....with that fresh salsa and radishes my ninja's.  Not that white people sh*t.  When she came to see me a couple years back she made me taco's.  I tried to eat all that sh*t till my stomach bust.  She had to pull me from the table.
