my auntie makes cornbeef in a casserole spiced up with corn and topped with melted cheese

it's so good you're shaking your head when you're eating it

I love her stew peas too

not american sweet potatoes, these ones are white, plus taro, dasheen, tania and her dash of magic that I can't seem to recreate LOL

My mom would do these hot sandwiches with hot dog buns, relish, olives, tuna and melted cheese on top and it tasted heavenly. Not a west indian dish and she doesn't even remember making it when we were kids but I need to find that recipe again.

like JPs mommy... the italians taught her.

whenever we had family functions.. on my moms or dads side.. she was DEMANDED to make it.. lol 

my dad... is lazy
but there are times.. when he makes these coconut tarts.

they are little pieces of heavennnnnnn..
when he made them.. he used to have to make batches of them.. and its mad time consuming b/c you have to sit there and grate whole coconuts.
