Aside from a few constructive criticism posts, this was a lighthearted thread.
For the most part, black women (myself included) are too nurturing and protective to really go in on black men.
I am not included in that number whatsoever bc I call these ngas out...ppl are always like, "well what kinda black people do y'all know?". Not many successful ones aside from the ones I've met in my adult life. That wasn't my experience overall and that is why I'm not sorry for my opinion on how black men OR women operate. Everything I say and feel is a direct reflection of being brought up around ppl who are not worried about their situation or perception. It's frustrating as shyt to want a different life but to come from a family that's all about deflecting, sweeping under the rug, excuses, and settling.
I know what some of my cousins are doing and it's called bad choices. I'm not going to call it anything but their own responsibility when a chick is 22 and makes the conscious choice to remove her iud and get pregnant by a nga in and out of jail. When a man has a job and quits because, "they be on some bullsh*t"...tired of hearing it. Work and take care of ur fcking kids.
Nobody is going to tell me I'm ignorant to what is going on. I am on the phone w ppl everyday who are living this dumb shyt.
Also, I recall making a thread about absentee black fathers on fathers day one year and ppl didn't like that so...
