Yo... this movie, in a non-traditional and lowkey way, blames our ancestors for slavery
It has that 'Well if they wanted to, they could've killed Whitey but instead they chose to sell each other and continue to sell each other out' tone to it

yea it was extremely stereotypical regarding black ppl and sad thing was directed by a black man....as well as the colorism in the film (im talking specifically about the film and not the book)

With the director, the content, cast yeah I figured.
I don't see it until tomorrow but I've heard some wild interpretations which is to be expected.
I don't expect ppl to take the same thing from this movie.
Ill post my analysis then too.
Ill be upfront with my QT bias but I can be critical of him too
