*pulls race card*...but for some reason they don't abandon their women or children nearly as much?  so that would mean whose ent is more correlated with their real life behavior?

art imitating life, life imitating art?

Obsessions with anything are bizarre, that's why they're called obsessions. However, calling a man's obsession over a part of a woman's form homo-anything doesnt make much sense.

I wouldnt expect objectification to be palatable.

it's homo when the social order dictates that they aren't settling down with women and instead prefer being around male bonds....sports, gangs, prison, organizations/clubs...hmph.

Then that should be for all men, not just black, and it would have nothing to do with ass.
I also hope that you're not under the assumption that black men are the creators of this social order.

No not a fair comparison. And why does it say 2000 instead of 2012?

It hasn't permeated their culture and music, though. Don't try and play stupid with me.

Maybe. That could be it.

One of my friends put it plainly on Twitter the other day. She doesn't necessarily like this generation of rap music. She just tolerates it because it's the only thing that will sell in the black community these days.

Anything with too deep a meaning is pretty much trash to this generation. Our kids will hate us for what we've done to music. Smh.
