Yup, this was NOT a first occurence. This type of behaviour will have 2 consequences:
1) They will learn to lie and scheme better
2) Male violence may be something that becomes normalized in their minds

Well maybe he just needs to keep at it to figure out the best way to beat his daughters, I mean 'motherf*ckers' as he calls them, in order to get the desired outcome.

I agree wit you. My daddy used to beat us like that, and at first it made us afraid of him. But yeah, when you get older it loses its effectiveness and then the children start planning on how to kill you in the future for your abuse. Once I turned 16 my daddy got exactly what he gave and my momma never saved him when we got into it physically. So parents, just remember that you and your child are getting older, so discipline should be coupled with reasoning instead of harsh reactions or things can turn ugly. |
Wow. I just can't. If anything I birthed ever raises a hand to me, they are as good as never having existed. Bill Cosby put it best....I brought you in this world and I will take you out. I think the beating was harsh, and I was raised by an arse whooping legend, but that will never permit you to raise your hand to me and live to tell about it. I have never wanted to harm the one's who raised me, arse whippings and all (all though I didn't get many because I was just a quiet kind of child) That would mean that I was raised not to respect them or myself.
