Thanks Farra.
In fact, it might be better for you not to tell w/o her permission, and just encourage her to talk to her parents or the police. But the best thing you can do, imo, is encourage her to go to rape counseling and go sooner than later. It's free in many places.
I'm torn because she is a minor, but she is also a teen. idk.

Encourage her to tell, but dont tell for her.
If she isnt ready to deal with it, then very little good will come from you telling your dad or the cops.

so sorry to hear that and what a tough call to be honest.
at
this point, i would say to encourage her to seek some counseling. perhaps
even providing her information on how to do this. its important that she
understands it was not her fault. be there for her because she did confide in you.
in addition, i would still
encourage her to call the authorities. but to be honest, let me find out
something like this happened to my sister or close relative/friend and
someone would be handling this man....if it was not the cops.but then again, i have some crazy brothers.

i'm going to be honest and say that it would be his word against hers and 4 days later there's no way to prove it. nothing would come of it
she'll need to deal with this with the help of other survivors and professionals who are trained in this area
