....and this time I'm focusing on lightskin/darkskin and representations in the media
So i'm doing my research and it's killing me...I had to get it off my chest
I'm corny and got teary-eyed a few times, it's really sad....colorism is so deep man

tis all....just wanted to vent

the one star bandit can one star me now LOL

lol positive k, i'm focusing on women again, sorry hun
it's not as deep for men (as per the findings)

dark skin men are seen as strong, physically fit and sexually attractive so interesting enough they have a higher self esteem than dark skin women (they dont suffer from colorism as deep as women because they are preferred over their lightskin counterparts)

however, that being said, they tend to choose lightskin more to advance their "standing" in society

dark skin women suffer the most because to be a woman is to be beautiful and darkskin +beauty don't go together in our community, or society
