Man... Idk about marijuana being a drug, it isn't man made.. And it is legal in some states. I'm pretty sure breastfeeding mothers in these third world countries and other countries are smoking some doojah..
idk maybe she should stop breastfeeding. I wouldn't call cps though unless there is some neglect or something.
There is no info on the effects of marijuana on children you can look it up and if you do find something it will say "it is believed" etc. not true FACTS

I see so many children with serious lung problems , low birth rates , you name it . Babies can have delayed speech and Enlarge hearts also . I have seen babies that experience serious withdrawal symptoms . Many feel Weed is diffrent than alchohol reference to side effects . I use to work on the Pediatric ward directly out of Nursing school . I never want to see anything like that again . Please stop blowing smoke in your Babies mouth also . The weed of today is often sprayed with all type of chemical to increase the high and growth rate, which enters the baby blood system very fast . You can loose your child to the state also .

i don't think this should turn into a drug debate. | A substance that has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body, in particular. |

I use to smoke a joint in my younger days . I Wish mary jane was the only drug around, but why give it to a baby or children ? Adults need to know what they are smoking today also . People are putting all kinds of things in weed . I only tried the stuff for a short time .No Thanks .

if she continues to smoke breastfeed until the child is over 1 and maybe 2 is it safe then? If we're going to go by "babies cant have certain foods" notion. by age 1/2 children can have most foods. Or if she smokes in the home in close proximity to the child, is that fine too? Enlighten me grass masters
| I hope this is in response to bribby alone considering she is the only person that said its no problem...and based on what u know of her, why bother asking? If you really wanted to know you'd go educate yourself instead of being condescending and facetious in every weed topic.
