I know there are threads for different smash box products but I want to know how are they overall for our complexion and if they are worth the price I am really interested in their bb cream and halo finishing powder but I wouldn't mind trying their photo finish foundation since I've heard good things about it

I have purchased the BB Cream in dark. For my complexion it is a touch or two light for my skintone. Correction, the undertone is way off for me. If you wear NW in MAC, you will need to follow up with a powder or wear foundation that matches your skintone and undertone. But if you have a yellow-ish undertone, you can make it work. If you have a reddish undertone if you can locate it, I have heard good things about Iman BB Creme. A more wider range of skintones. Another option would be Sleek Makeup. I have seen swatches and it looks like it will work for those with a reddish undertone.

Iman broke me out, I've never entertained Mac so I don't know what I wear in that but i believe I have a golden undertone, how about if this helps, fashion fair makeup matches me perfectly whereas Clinique makes my face look muddy

One way to tell is the following: if a white shirt washes you out but an off white shirt makes you glow, then most likely you have a warm or yellow-ish undertone. If a white shirt makes you look alive and a off-white makes you look ill, then you have a cool or reddish undertone. If both color shirts makes you look great, then you have a neutral undertone. Granted this is not concrete because some people don't fall so neatly into three categories but it is a starting point. For example, some folks have a beige undertone, some have a peach undertone, some have an olive undertone, etc. But I would definitely check it out. Oh I forgot to mention, if you have dry skin, Smashbox BB cream might be a bit drying and will highlight every flake you have. SPF is meh and does has a whitish-cast to it but nothing major.

so I tried the BBCream and it wasn't bad but it had a faint red tint to it, but eventually my face started itch, so I can't wear it anyway but on the other side of my face I tried Urban Decay's Naked and I love it!! has anyone tried it

Kinks winks, I tried Urban Decay Naked Skin and I luv it!! It goes on velvety smooth and it has great coverage, but I also like to blend my foundations to find my perfect shade. Sometimes I will mix my Smashbox high definition with my MAC NC44 foundation until I get the perfect blend that matches my skin tone. Before I apply my foundation, I always use my multi active toner by Dermalogica first, it's a must have for me. And lastly, I use Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray, this stuff is amazing. Once I spray this after applying my makeup it keeps my makeup on until I was it off!!! hth
