Slim bodies looked down on in the black community?

I've personally noticed that the slim body type is more looked down on in the black race. Obviously there are people of all races who prefer different body types. However after surveying a few majority black forums (not this one however) slim bodies seem to be attacked. Most common phrases: 'Shaped like a 12 year old boy', 'Bones are for the dogs meat is for the men'. I have seen various men on these forums state that 'they don't care how pretty the girl is if she hasn't got curves'. I'm aware that some slim people have curves and some have big butts and boobs. However for the those with small boobs and butt they receive a lot of heat in the black community. One girl told her men have straight up told her they would date her but won't because she has no butt.

I have found that the criticism of slim bodies from my experience has been most prevalent in the black race than others. Can anyone elaborate on this? Opinions welcome.

So maybe we skinny girls need to date Asians in order to be accepted? Idk.

I've noticed usually big women (of all races) picking on us skinny girls My heavier set friends are always making fun of me. "real women have curves" has been used to say if your not fat then you're ugly:( Instead that should say "real women have vaginas"

People seem to associate body shape with race. White and Asians= skinny and no curves. Latinas and black=curvaceous bombshells. When people first meet me and think I'm just a tan white girl they assume I have no curves. Once I tell them I'm Brazilian they begin assuming I have the perfect hourglass figure.

tbh honest I think it's purely an  American thing. I'm from London and Black people here (or the people that I know) seem to aspire to be slim/toned. Being slim/skinny isn't something to be looked down on. The word 'thick' doesn't even mean the same thing here (it means stupid haha)...most of us think it's an 'Americanism' for being fat/overweight lol.
