I have not met any of those milestones. I went from EL to SL in 2 years though.Cry I am a very very very slow grower.Confused

2 years and 3 months to get to aplErmm but that was with a set back that caused me to cut

im going to see how long it takes me to get to BSL...this year will be no trims and constant protective styling

i know this doesnt apply to me(beause i havent made my 1st goal yet) But am i the only person who's been on their journey for 2yrs and still hasn't made it to APl???? Im going crazy over here. Am i gonna be SL forever?Cry

I went hardcore in the 3 months following my setback. And I didn't even believe it myself until I looked at the comparison pix. But I think the spurt also came b/c I usually don't do much with my hair (I follow a reggie for all of 3 days then do nothing for a month Ermm), so my hair was probably having a party because I was finally paying attention to it! LOL My advice to anyone is to step your game up! I prob won't have any retention during my next check...

no! You will probably have a growth spurt this summer don't worry! I know you are making progress it's hard to be patient when you feel ur hair is growing slow...ur hair is so thick and nice though. Have you tried growth aids to speed things up? Hair grows 6 inches on avg you said you got 4 may be growth aids a.d scalp messages might help you get that extra boost :)

Maybe you are a slow grower. I am too, but in order to make the most of every inch that I grow, I take excellent care of my ends. I use heat once a week, but I also dc once a week with a light protein and I use a protein leave in after every shampoo (chi keratin mist). I trim every 2-3 months and I try not to switch up my regimen too much. I get much better results when I'm consistent. My leave in is long term relationship and the only oil I seal with is coconut oil.
