^^ something in the water may not be clean, but the way this whole thing went down is definitely NOT. Until there is clear evidence that the father is a POS, or the events went differently than stated, i'm gonna need becky n' nem to give that baby back.

LMAO at people automatically jumping to the aid of the father because the child was adopted by white people. Based on ALL the reports that I have read about the story, something in the water ain't clean with the papi | I was thinking this too, but it's still messed up how the wife didn't tell him. Wonder if he was abusive to her?

I was waiting for Simplyput to be called a c00n.
I truly believe that the adoptive family KNEW that the father did not consent to the adoption. After he contested, they should have return the child and sued the adoption agency.
Who I am not convinced is a complete POS is the birth mother. I imagine something went through her mind to make her think that she would be raising the child alone. I will wait until there is more evidence before I cast judgment on the birth mother.

Any active duty soldier is required to take care of their family. Since they were married, if he had left her penniless, all she had to do is go the any base in Texas. They would have mad him give his BAH to his family. She also could put him on child support immediately. So the whole he left her penniless is a bunch of bull!!!!!! Also the military would not hunt down a spouse that leaves a soldier. This happens all the time. He would have to do that on his own dime. It sounds like they were having marital issues, but that has absolutely NOTHING to do with his rights as a parent.

It's not about them being white.. For me anyway.. if the family were Latino and crying salty Latino tears, I still feel like the baby needs to be returned to the father bc the adoption was not legal..
I will agree that the circumstances around why the baby was allowed to be adopted and the circumstances behind the mother doing that are strange and info is missing..

^That may be true, but it doesn't always happen that way. My BFF's husband left her and found a new girlfriend while an active marine. He would not send her a dime for their son, and changed his number. She contacted the military and they told her she would have to go through the "process" since the funds for his family were given directly to him. It took her months. By the time she was even close to receiving funds, they were back together and stationed in Japan.
