Everyone should be required to do community service.

Most of the "community service" was already done by
the prison industrial complex anyway. The states pay the owners tons of
money for the "free labor" they get from prisoners. Maybe the
prisoners are too busy making more profitable items so the private
prison owners are lobbying Michigan legislature to move that work to
welfare recipients so they can produce the higher paying products.
Now
that Holder has relaxed many of the laws (marijuana) and some state
have legalized it the P-I-C is going to have a shortage of workers .
Yup. That's probably it.
Anyone who wants to prove my theories wrong is welcome to dig deeper
Pee on my leg and tell me you're not trying to turn welfare recipients into the new free labor force.
But fck poor folks anyhow. We all paid at BHM. Aint nobody coming for us

i don't see a problem with this. a lot of high schools are requiring their seniors to complete a certain number of community service hours prior to graduating. i don't see a problem with doing something similar to people on welfare. asking them to complete a min of 30 hours a year sounds fair.

Nay, Nay, Nay. The Michigan lawmakers concentrate on the wrong damned thing. The focus should be on jobs. If there were jobs here, there would be fewer people on welfare. Instead, the republicans here push thru laws that make Michigan less attractive to businesses.

Oh I wasn't comparing loans, lol.
I was comparing financial aid, which for students that qualify for it does not have to be paid back. It's pretty messed up, I mean it's like "hey you're poor so let's just give you this money since YOU decided to go to college"...like why can't they just take out a loan or get a job and pay for it like normal students? |
Because they are POOR!!! You sound bitter...LMAO!! |
And how is that a gov. problem? I mean why are you going to college in the first place, if not to get a better job than you would be able to without college (hopefully)? Loans are a perfectly good option.
LOL and hell yes I am, I wish I was a loser who could have the Gov. shell out money for me to go to college. Heck I could afford to become a professional student, repeating college over and over and not spend a dime.
But alas I am an adult, who doesn't shun work, isn't lazy, had decent parents with jobs etc. so I must pay for the things I want. Which includes college, not a poor loser sucking on gov. tit for the rest of my life.
