they don't need a law to have welfare recipients to do local gardening
where would they garden in the inner cities to create enough produce to feed hundreds of thousands?
the gardening is show and tell
guess this is preferable to the prison system  |

i mean the only other people 'forced' to do community service are people in jail. i just dont like where this is heading. teach people on welfare a skill if they need one.
what is the average length of time people spend on welfare? even when you work and are on welfare, you're technically feeding into the system via taxes right?

Most people are one pay cheque away from poverty due to redundancies, illness etc. In this unstable, shaky economic time where people are just trying to survive hand to mouth, I would be very careful going with the agenda to vilify the unemployed/working poor, who for the most part, are trying their damndest to survive. By turning your attn to the voiceless unemployed people, you're averting your eyes to the real issues of the policy makers/ the rulers of this 'free' world who are giving it to you in arse with no lub. Welfare recipients are a very small problem compared to the tax evasion of the elitist. They just throw us the crumbs to scrabble amongst ourselves.
I didn't watch the video. It's Fox, right?

i didn't even watch the whole video b/c hune pisses me off anyway it turns me off b/c right now he wants to run bills thru about ish that is not important right now. why are you not getting companies to bring jobs to the state? this state has about 4 or 5 emergency managers, police that is getting laid off in cities like flint and saginaw that desperately need it, crumbling infrastructures, and dude is concerned about welfare reform right now? and not even meaningful reform? gtfoh
