this.
i don't find anything wrong with people on welfare doing something constructive with their time. i'd like to see them get skills training to transition to permanent jobs-- if there were such a thing (maybe joe hune could focus on that). however, if feels they're trying to perpetuate the stereotype that people on welfare aren't doing anything constructive. that bothers me.

ideally, more people should do community service, not just people on welfare. i wonder what he does for community service?  I don't think this is what he should be focusing on at this point. i'm not concerned about this as i am about looming layoffs for police/fire in various cities that really need it, or schools closing down, tbh

I watched the video, what is torturous about doing community service for your city? don't students HAVE to do community service to graduate HS or something like that? I think that there are some good things in this bill, I agree with the guy with the mustache at the end though.
There needs to be a way to involve people in their own communities.
Is it only the witch hunt thing that turns people off about this?

If the people who weren't presenting the idea such demonic people and actually trying to rebuild the communities than yes this would be a great initiative and also training for the people on welfare and help them rebuild themselves up like it's suppose to do. This would be a great idea, but no this is a slick way for white people to laugh at minorities on welfare doing field work.
