Smh student loans are for suckas anyway.

I tell these lil Brothas
all the time, if you aint got no scholarship to the university don't
waste your time and money. You can start off at a junior college and transfer
later. Brothas love to make sh*t unnecessarily hard for themselves.

But of course, that's only if you even want to go to college in the first place. *sips Kool Aid*

Most Junior colleges are expensive as hell these days, especially the for profit institutions. If you do not know exactly what college you are transferring to a lot of those credits are non transferable.
I missed deadlines in High school to apply to my college of choice so I went to a "junior" college for a year and a half. When I transferred my 70+ credits they only accepted 15. That "junior" college cost about only 2k less a semester than the private top ranked Jesuit University I attended when I left.

LMAO how you gon be signing up for classes and not know whether or not they will transfer out?!

Most people who go to junior colleges (for an associates) have the 4-year school(s) that they're interested in transferring to in mind as they take their courses. And they match the courses that their taking there to the requirements of the university and plan accordingly. Well, that's what you're supposed to do.
No MM I was in a 2-4 year Junior college in the same program I wanted to transfer in to at the University. When I transferred the credits they did transfer out but at a 3:1 conversion meaning for every 3 credits thy were worth 1 credit at the University. A lot of colleges do that now they are hip to the 2 year college transfer game and they want to make their money off your degree.

SMH...

scholarship money is still coming from somewhere.  i've earned scholarships as well.  it's still not YOU paying...the only difference is you're saying it's okay to get free money as long as it's not coming from the government...better to come from a corporation who is only trying to get a tax break or elsewhere?

aren't some scholarships state based aka gov based as well?

I was gonna ask if flow or her fam gets any form of govt help

I find that many that are so opposed to certain govt programs still get govt help from some where

like people that use the GI bill that oppose welfare

ok...that's generally paid for by tax payers...unless you are advocating totally privatizing k-12.
