I am actually all for that. If you got caught selling drugs, and now want to go to school, apply for a scholarship, go to church, pay for it yourself.

My bad I was just speaking on when it comes from loans...it's in the loan giver's best interest for the person to take out as much money as they want.

Exactly this is why I cannot understand why anyone would think deregulating financing college and leaving students who are already in financial need to the private sector is a good idea. The Govt caps student loans at 50k for 4 year degrees and they only cover a certain amount per a semester. If there was 0 financial aid Bank of America would just create a 35% interest loan for Tyrone to get a degree in music production from ICDC college. Then they would sell his loan to a blind trust and start the process over again.

EBT cards hold the cash assistance funds ("welfare") and the SNAP assistance funds (formerly food stamps).
You can only use the cash assistance portion for hot food/fast food/restaurants. So yes, ppl can use their EBT card for pizza hut, but the funds will not come from the SNAP food program funds.
ETA: At the grocery store when you swipe an ebt card, if you receive both cash and SNAP, it will ask you which you want to use. If you swipe the same card at pizza hut, it automatically chooses cash, there isn't an option to use SNAP.

It asks which one you choose to use regardless of if you receive both or if you have just one of the two though. Either way we also have places that aren't even food stores that also accept food stamps as a form of payment as well.

FA doesnt always mean its a loan...lol would be a lack luster riot of u just got grants. Theres more to succeeding after college than just getting a degree. In reality the degree is for show ...college is more about networking and making connections more than anything imo. If you are willing to go the extra mile be it relocating or working ur way up to ur dream job u are more likey to have a better outcome.
