We do need to get rid of the student loan system but for entirely different reasons...but that's a whole different discussion.

To answer the OP people really need to stop demonizing the poor while corporations rape us. Instead of a weekly thread on how to stop Rashidah from purchasing Edy's Ice Cream there should be a thread on what Goldman Sachs did with our bail out money and AIG's audacity.

Or the waste and over spending with our military. I am not even sure if we ever even had a thread on that.

I'm sure there have been at least 50 food stamp threads.
