I used to wear box braids 4 years ago before my BC. I am wanting a protective style for the winter, and thinking it could save me some money and time when it comes to my curls/ products. I would be doing them myself, and adding a bit of a highlight. i know not everyone can wear braids, although I have before do you think I should give them another go? Thank you:)

I also wanted to mention I am still on my journey to achieve waist length hair. Just looking for something different to try:)

As long as you've never had any issues while rocking box braids then I say go for it!

I've never tried box braids but I love how they look. Are they heavy?

^ if you get the large braids , they might be heavy.
well not for me, i have small box braids. i like to style it up. hmm maybe i should make  thread about styles for box braids.
