I am trying to figure out what type of products combat shedding? My hair is moist (no dry issues). I do a protein treatment no less than monthly. However I still have a little bit of shedding going on? I feel like it's a lot, however it may be normal, not really sure. Any advice is welcome.

I read on this forum that using a black tea rinse helps slow down shedding drastically.  I never tried it myself because I didn't have any black tea on hand, and didn't feel like purchasing it or trying it out.  Plus I was dealing with some breakage issues.

It would help if u could post a pic of your shed hairs. Your shedding is most likely normal but it could be a mixture of breakage and shedding. Do u finger detangle your hair prior to combing? It's tedious but it helps a lot to try and take out knots with your fingers first, it will come right out if u take your time versus racking a comb through it.
