So the Shea Moisture product line has come out with a hair color collection. In the link abouve you see the shades, what the box contains, and a You Tube video of someone's results with one of the shades. It's being sold at Target for $15. What do you folks think about this?

Reading the comments, it looks like their ammonia substitute is worse than ammonia!!
I generally stray from using new products and wait until they become tried and true...for now I'll stick to Naturatint, or Aveda

Box dyes are very misleading in my opinion because most people will look at the model's hair on the box thinking the contents will get them those exact results...which it rarely does. The only thing I'm liking about this is the cover art and that's all really. Paying $15 for a box dye kit at Target doesn't sit right with me either.

I've peeped it and asked several times if it contains any form of PPD/PDD and no response.

From what I know permenant haircolors, the darker the shade is the more PPD/PDD it contains and the lighter the shade is, the more ammonia or ammonia substitute it contains.

There's a bunch of reviews but no list of ingredients anywhere. I don't even know if they have them at any of the Target stores in my area but, I'll try to find a list of ingredients.
