I've used melted shea butter and EVOO as a moisturizer before and I liked it. I never thought to use it as a DC.

idk if u should DC with it.. u add the gly to ur DC for moisture then after ur done rinsing, u can seal with the shea butter.. its heavy so it weighs ur hair down, i dont get much shrinkage when i do this on wet hair while twisting...

maybe u can melt it up and mix it into a DC.. lemme see if i can find some posts on it

Shea Butter would be pretty difficult to rinse and I know when I
apply it to my hair when its wet then let it dry my hair feels crunchy.

i think its too heavy and oily to DC with. Maybe you could try to mix a little bit into your conditioner and see how your hair comes out.

Shea is one of my favorite butters to seal with, that's pretty much all I use it for. It works wonders on my skin too!

I melt shea butter down and add it to my Hair after having appled my hair mayo when DC-ing. I have had no problems as my hair is covered the entire time i.e. heated so the shea butter says in a melted state if that makes sense. just rinse properly and it would be ok
