sharing your "good fortune" with friends?

Wow...what kinda friend is this?

To be honest, if my best friend only needed $300-400 to get her car fixed, I would give it to her even if I only had $4000. I have the kinda best friend who would wait for me to OFFER it tho, and not just expect it like she's entitled to it.

Her acting like I owed it to her would rub me the wrong way tho, and I'd have to tell her no.

In this case I would tell her, "If your bills aren't important enough TO YOU to pass up on All-Star weekend, why should they be so important to me that I give up MY money?"

My bestie would never try me like that tho.

But then again, I wouldn't even tell anyone I won the lotto, gambling, etc.

if she was serious about paying bills, then she should re-examine her priorities. right now, going out and having fun seems like it is more important than getting her car fixed.
