No. The friend makes it sound like she is entitled to get some of your money just because she's your friend. It aint my job to pay off your debt IMO

DO you mind if I thread jack for a bit?  I know a grown woman that lost her job, her dh lost his too.  They had 2 kids under 4 & 2 in their teens.  She didn't have a way to pay for everything & fell way behind in her rent.  She started asking ppl for money.  Do you think that was the right thing to do since she cant pay it back?  I think she should just move back home & stop borrowing from peter to pay paul

i was always told not to lend money if i can't afford for it to NOT be paid back.  like buyer beware.

she's wrong for asking to borrow when she has no intent on really paying it back but those folks should know better.  i'd still take her to judge judy tho.
