4k isn't enough to share to help pay off someones debt when you have your own. |
i think she's expecting somewhere in the range of 300-400 b/c she's having some car issues. mind you, theyre both going to all star wknd so...
if you won the 1mil, you wouldn't pass off like 15k if it meant your bff would be debt free? you a cold piece of work.

that's 400k after taxes? nope. family comes first. that's not that much money.
i know how much my friends owe in debt and it ain't nothing NEAR 15k. most are in 6 figure ranges with grad school. with 4 friends you can see how that would add up.
so yeah i am a piece of work who can add. thanks.

we would share. BUT, if we couldn't share or didn't want to, we would have had no problem saying no and nobody would be mad.
(speaking of close friends only)

erhm, that wasn't an insult.
but hypothetically, if 15k meant all the difference you wouldn't do it?
i would b/c im a softie. also bc my best friend trounces some of my crazy family members. a few folks would be left out in the cold.

no bc imo 15k isn't that much debt that they couldn't work and pay that off. my one friend has never told us how much debt she has...but i guess it is 200k. now THAT is a crippling amount of debt IMO and i would help her. 15k? no you can handle that. that's like a car note.
