i came to bhm at 135/140.That was my highest weight ever in all my life even when preggers. Clicked on that body thread upstairs and the rest is history. Stacking a nice 170 in all the right places. If only I could flatten this stomach a bit more. Yeah yall don't play upstairs.

some women care WAY too much about what other women think.  this is one of those instances where a woman's opinion means nothing...aside from your own.

This thread is disturbing.

Unfortunately, many people hold the backwards idea that we must have curves in order to be 'real women,' and by not having curves, somehow detracts from one's womanhood, making one akin to a little boy.

What message is this sending to women/girls who have a naturally slim figure and aren't curvaceous? Are they not "real women?" I have siblings and friends who are a size 0 and 2 naturally - they have no eating disorders, ironically, they eat like football players – and they are accustomed to hearing rude and negative comments stating how they “need to eat a burger because they look disgusting, like little boys, and are too skinny,” and this is often done by women to other women.

In our attempt to move away from the media's pressure on women to be thin and teach women to gain confidence in their bodies, we went to the other extreme to say that women who are thin aren't "real women"

Why don’t we just focus on accepting our natural body shape and focus on being healthy, and not what we think is "too fat" or "too skinny" for other people.
