RadarOnline has exclusively learned that she served time in prison for bank fraud!

Now a real estate agent, Mercedes has hidden her legal troubles from the Bravo reality show but according to documents exclusively obtained by RadarOnline, Mercedeh Christine Javid was denied a real estate license because of her conviction and imprisonment.

She was convicted of one count of bank fraud, served one month in prison, had five months of home confinement, three years of probation and paid $10,000 restitution.

Mercedeh was “employed as a bank teller at Home Savings in Beverly Hills, she was approached by four men who asked her to take part in a fraud scheme.”

The documents state she was 18 at the time, and at first refused to aid the men, who she said she did not personally know, but who she recalled seeing at her father’s auto repair shop one year earlier.



“The men threatened her, her father, and her boyfriend, and she agreed to assist them,” and the documents say she made several deposits on behalf of the men, involving “monetary funds in excess of $100,000.”

The bank eventually discovered the activity but Mercedeh stopped showing up for work, and it was three years later when the FBI became involved in the case and she pled guilty to the charges in 1994.

She “spent one month in prison, and then completed her three year probation without incident. Respondent was also able to pay all of the $10,000 restitution that was ordered, although she had to obtain a loan to do it.”



Her real estate license was denied by the California Department of Real Estate because it was “a crime involving moral turpitude and one which is substantially related to the qualifications, functions, and duties of a real estate salesperson.”

Mercedeh was eventually given a restricted real estate license after completing her probation requirements, volunteering in the community, obtaining her college degree and having her supervisors at her real estate firm submit letters on her behalf attesting to “her dedication, hard work, maturity and trustworthiness.”
