Is it true that women hit men more than men hit women. My counselor disagreed but what do you think? #domestic violence against men

Statistically speaking, no. The 'woman on man' domestic violence does occur (at increasing rates), but the 'man on woman' domestic violence occurs much larger rates.
Both are toxic and damaging though, and should be shouldn't be trivialized.

Do you mean like slapping? I'm sure all if not most of the men here have been slapped by a woman and didn't call the cops or press charges.
IA with purp tho

I seriously doubt that, although I will say that statistics on men being abused by their women probably aren't accurate cuz most men won't call the police if she hits or hurts him.

Lots of women have hit their men in anger, however, it's usually batsh*t compared to the blows men throw at women. Men are stronger and have more testosterone than women, so a hit from them will do serious damage, while a hit from a woman won't even faze them.
Also men tend to hit women to establish control and dominance, while a woman may only smack a man out if frustration and pain (ex, found out he was cheating)
Either way, no one should place their hands on someone else unless they have legit reasons. To actually compare the two is apples and oranges.
