I guess crocheting can be posted here. I'm currently working one of those infinity scarves.

I remember being younger and hating the fact that my birthstone was sapphire. Idk what happened, but over the last 2 years, blue has become one of my fave colors.

I started by crocheting a simple chain link. I didn't count the links, but it measured 47 inches when I was done...

Next I crocheted a new row onto the chain link...

When the row ended, I crocheted the ends together to form a loop...

I continued building rows on top if one another, here's my progress so far...

Here's what I'm using...
6mm needle...

Color...

The brand is Loops & Threads...Soft & Shiny, I bought it from Michael's

I'm not done yet, but I'll post the end result when it's finished...

^ Love that color - I've got my sewing down, but now I want to learn how to crochet.

I love sewing. I use a kenmore and mainly sew clothing (skirts, dresses, tops, etc). Haven't sewed in a minute, but one of the last things I sewed was a denim maxi skirt. Will try to post a pic.

We should keep this thread alive/create a thread solely to post pics of something you created (sewed, quilted, knitted, crochet, etc).

I agree with keeping this thread alive.

I lovveeee sewing/crocheting. I would love to be a full-time seamstress/tailor...I just need more practice--a lot more.

I made a window curtain/panel this weekend that I posted in the DIY thread. I guess I should've posted it here since sewing was involved.

Yes let's keep this going. I am waiting on one of my friends or family to buy some more material so I can make my second quilt. The next one will be much smaller for sure.
