I see. It's unfortunate because I think it's alienating a lot of people who have no choice. If we stopped doing particular things all at once for at least one day, people could literally see how much money is lost when blacks r unhappy.

I would love it if these types of initiatives corresponded with some financial planning education that would increase our financial empowerment as a community.

We need address the issue that a lot of what we buy is not contributing positively to our financial health as a community. So instead of just "don't buy from others" or "buy black only" it should be that AND "spend 30 minutes writing a budget" or "here's how to not waste money on cable/cell phone/other contract items" or "the economics of putting money on your people's books".

thats too much at once. one goal at a time. niccas had trouble remembering notdo the smal tasks of the blackout. now you want to add math and homework

IA nita.  I think boycotting or supporting our own is a good start.  Let folks see the results...that we can big up ourselves...then they might get inspired to do better.

don't shop walmart, don't shop the arab corner store, buy a piece of bean pie from the black muslim dude on the corner, give advice about financial independence, whatever...interpret however you wish.
