OMG! I love Sengalese twists, I just took mine out this weekend. I got them put in at the beginning of January. I could have gone longer with them, but my birthday is coming up and I will be in Vegas, do I wanted my sew in back in. But I will probably be rocking the twist all summer.

You can get different lengths and widths. i got them long, maybe mid back, and they were really skinny. I will keep the length next time, but I will get them a little thicker.

I really wanna do this with some Janet Collection Marley braid hair I have laying around. It matches my natural hair so well. I'm just way too lazy haha I'm so used to my mom doing my braids.

Congratulations.  I saw results with my hair more than any other style I've tried to protect my hair.  These twists have done wonders for my hair.

I have a question...I've had micro twists before & I LOVED THEM!! Bt I recently saw a pic of some twists & they were very pretty bt the girl said that they were senegalese twists. Bt they look jus like micro twists to me. So my question is ARE MICRO TWISTS & SENEGALESE TWISTS THE SAME & IF NOT WATS THE DIFFERENCE???

I have over 9 years virgin hair, so it's easy because my hair is curly.
What is the state of your hair? Do you have a relaxer?

Remember to roll the hair with your fingers as you twists and really grip the hair. What kind of hair are you using?? I noticed certain kinds of hair tend to do that like the one that looks like spirals curls and when you pull it puffs out. For kinky twists I usually like to use the rougher kind of hair.

Hey Ladies! So I am currently in a 6-month "hide your hair challenge" (protective styling) & right now I am wearing my hair in Kinky Twists! But soon they will be coming out! I will then give my hair a little break & try some mini twists! But now I am actually considering doing Senegalese Twists for my next round of twists! I haven't done these before but I am guessing that its similar to doing Kinky Twists! Anyways I am writing this post asking anyone to give me any tips or advice to prepare me for when I do my Senegalese Twists! Thank You in advance!!! Big smile
