Well mine costs $180, and there is a picture in my fotki under styles I have had. Also it's my main picture. They were small but not too small. It took the braiders about 8 hours (with a few breaks). Mine actually lasted about 3 months. I washed them every two weeks at first, then more often toward the end. as braids were slipping or growing out, I would rebraid them. If you can't braid, you can go back to the shop for a touch up every 4 weeks I think.

I literally just took mine out. They can range between $140-200 depending on the size and length (mine were $170 for about an inch or two beyond MBL, small and not too small around the edges). I took a mere 5 hrs with a 2nd braider helping for about 2 hours. They were suppose to last until May, but the nice weather and my hair growing faster than usual caused me to take them out in a month. I washed mine every week. Like lovely said you can get them touched up in 4 weeks, but since I'm away at school I didn't have that luxury.

Mines cost $240...I have a lot of hair... but the second time I went to a braiding academy and it was only 125, a professional hair braider braided them but since i let everybody watch she gave me a discount. She did them loose and thats the way I wanted them...It took about 8 hours and I kept them in for two months.
