If you saw someone harming themselves(cutting, burning, etc..) what would you do? Does anyone have any stories with seeing someone harming themselves? Has anyone here cut? If anyone doesn't feel comfortable sharing, can you PM me? Thanks

OP people might be more inclined to share their stories if you shared yours
There isn't much you can actually do to stop them, but maybe talking to them about going to therapy might help. It's worth a try, but suggesting therapy unfortunately doesnt work a lot of the time, so don't blame yourself if they don't go.

they'll stop when they're ready (or come up with some other self destructive behavior) or seek professional help. There's really nothing you can do but encourage them to seek help

I don't have a lot to share. I mean, I know a lot of people who have or still do. I don't do or say unless they ask me for help or they want to talk. It bugs me though because I used do a lot to myself so I know what they are going through. Tbh, the only reason why I made the thread is because I recently relapsed and I started wondering about other Povs and experiences.
