i don't think Mellie is involved in it...I think she maybe had some sort of intuition. If she really didn't want to go, she would have said that she wasn't feeling good b/c of the baby. Fitz may hate Mellie, but he wouldn't take chances on the baby. He even asked, and once she said no, he gave her the side eye and wasn't hearing her sh*t.

also, where would that leave her? she would no longer be first lady, there aren't far enough in his term for her to realistically began prepping for office and she would lose a lot of power she holds. If he died, she would really have no reason to be around in politics. It would be in her best interest to keep him alive. And if she knew he would get shot, she probably wouldn't have been so close to him, she would have held back some so that she wouldn't get it. Don't think I'm trying to cape for Mellie...I don't like her...but her knowing and setting it up doesn't make sense to me.

I think that it is the oil guy, or someone that is connected to her.

Makes sense that Quinn is preggers. she needs to back off of Huck, he is not here for her sh*t.

Olivia and Huck would be really interesting

I hope they do not try to pair Abby and Harrison. I don't like that at all.

James will probably be killed at the end, then Cy will go crazy. I would actually like that, now that I think about it.

I like Olivia and Edison together. With Fitz, there was no real future, and it was toxic. They weren't good together. He was losing, you could see that in the woods, and being a creeper by having surveillance. It was really sad when he was ripping thru the pictures of Olivia and Edison, and started to cry. He knew that it was really over then.

I don't think Fitz know that they cheated to get him in the presidency because of that story he told about the numbers in defiance OH.  Mostly everyone who is part of the conspiracy was at the table and was trying to change the subject. He talkin bout not trusting vote counters or something.

I don't know if the flotus knew about the shooting. Like someone mentioned, if she knew beyond a shadow of a doubt, then when he asked about whether it was the baby the reason for turning back, she should have said yes because she knows he really doesn't care about her.

It appears that Olivia is backing off from the office cases.  My husband thinks it's because she knows that the conspiracy has gotten out of hand and if secrets comes out and she's thrown in prison, the crisis management firm will be able to go on under new leadership.

Either Huck or Charlie was the shooter

it seems very convenient that each of the characters we don't like were given motives to shoot him, so I will reserve judgement and just wait for next episode.
 
Harrison's hairline was for the gods this week (fade? taper?)
 
I just really wanna know what the two songs in the episode were, I couldn't find reference to them online, so if anyone knows, please spill. (The one when Ginger Snap and Harrison were dancing, and the one playing when the FL and P were in the limo).
 
Cyrus' hubby is getting close, but I don't know that he will be killed, as that would unleash the kraken in Cyrus.
 
Fitz is so... malleable. annoying.
 
Quinn needs to be careful antagonizing a known killer. They drugged you the first time, they just might disappear you the next. sit down in a corner for now please, we only need you when a situation calls for "panicked face".
