Topic: Scalp Oil Challenge for Hair Growth Posted: Nov 14 2012 at 9:31am |
Hey BHM, long time no see. Anyone care to join me? Had another setback in my hair journey so I'll be applying Tressfully Yours Stimulating Scalp Oil daily. My goal is to get to full midback length then aim for waistlength by my 5 year hair anniversary in August 2013.
Start Date: December 1, 2012 End Date: March 1, 2013
Rules:
- State your hair texture & current hair length.
- Take starting pics with a datestamp (1 pic has to show a tape measurement of your hair).
- Must wash hair at least once a week to help avoid buildup.
- Must warm up this oil or any natural oils & apply directly to your scalp & hair ends every night.
- Massage in the oil for at least 3 minutes.
- Don't leave any other products on your scalp.
- Baggy your hair ends (optional).
- Check-In at the end with your progress pics.
Happy Hair Growth!

Hi,
I just opened a FOlicure challenge that noone seems to be interested in. LOL! If you do not have co participants in your challenge, I wont mind being your hair partner. We can keep each other up to date with our personal progress. Its nice to have someone that you are accountable to ( thus the purpose of the challenges). If you are interested PM to let me know.
Good luck, I m sure you will reach your goal!!!!!!!!!!!

I am...it's my mix. I've been on here a long time so I didn't just post
just because. The challenge is to use any natural oils and I plan on
using that one so I that's why showed it. People can use anything--- Coconut, Jojoba, Olive Oil,etc.

I just oiled my scalp with castor oil and it feels so good. So funny because I have not oiled my scalp since i started my hair journey in 2010 and forgot how basic and nourishing it is. I am officially joining this challenge and will be using castor oil. My hair is so shiny. It was so dry before I did it.

Lol Thanks. Yeah Castor Oil is one of my staple oils. Thick oil but it helps thicken, cleanse & give shine. Cool.
