I just could not relate. I had a group of friends talking about those women and I just didn't get it. One woman said every woman has a Mr.Big in her life. She got a side-eye from me.

Sex and the city was fun when I was 18-22....after that it seemed lame, especially the last 2 or 3 seasons. Carrie sometimes was incredibly annoying and the fashion obsession was pure advertisement.
The first movie was kinda of fun, the second one was a bit boring, especially because it wasn't in the city and with all that crap of Aiden coming back..... predictable from beginning to end.
I don't think I'll watch this show but I'm sure it will be a success.
I don't remember Carrie having a young sister on the show though. And she once said that she lived in NYC for a decade, and she was already on her 30's.

I think she meant that every woman has a man who she always wonder "what if". Because that's what Carrie said on the last season, when she was in Paris...that every time she was with a man she thought of Mr. Big,.

I thought she moved permanently to Manhattan in her 20's? I remember they did a flash back and the 80's gear was on and poppin'.

IMO....I think she meant that every woman has had that man that she was a fool for. That she'd do anything for.

@flowing. People say that Carrie is ugly anyways so *shrugs* tho I do agree that this girl...her look doesn't seem to be suited to the role.
