Okay so I guess u could say I have "rough" hands" I would call them dry but others refer to them as dry... its really embarrassing when a guy says "ur hands are rough like a man" :S I just want to erase that moment and delete or go hide under some rock and wish he never said that... anyways my hands doesnt always stay the same texture when its not "rough" they get really sweaty and clamy, and when I hold cold objects like a soda my hands get really soft for some weird reason.. is their anything that'll make my hands permanently soft? And is it common for blk women to have "rough hands"?

do you keep them lotioned at all?
Get manicures?
Is there any other parts of your body where your skin feels similar?

try a olive oil sugar scrub with honey. always makes my hands feel like silk afterwards. follow up with vasaline and wear cotton gloves during cold weather months.
good luck

Ummmm maybe a wax, starts with a p... (Paraffin wax! I just googled it.)

Coconut oil nightly? Pumice stone and lotion...

Maybe a spa could help u. *hug*

And God better exist if there is ever a survey saying that black woman have the roughest hands. No one in my family has rough hands or feet. I'm not sure if race has anything to do with the fact that they take care of themselves.

Satin Hands by Mary Kay works well. You can also use shea butter, coconut oil, or vaseline.

This is good advice. Those scrubs work wonders.

I had a friend like this in college. she had to use a special medicated lotion for extra dry hands.its a condition, forgot what it was called. but the lotion was in a white bottle.

try that and then also try vaseline and perhaps putting plastic wrap or gloves on with the vaseline.
