You are definitely not wrong! She shouldn't have moved ANYONE in without your consent, let alone a grown ass man you're not familiar with.
I had to go thru this TWICE when I had roommates. These heffas always try to act like their messed up logic makes sense.
As a grown ass man, he should be ashamed of himself trying to move in and live of of women for the low. Dude sounds like a straight up bum.

well I was going to type something akin to this
you have nothing more to discuss with her and any valuables/personal stuff you have in the place, I would secure them elsewhere and be on high alert .. and look for another roommate or another place in the meantime
escalate to whomever you need to, so they can fix it by the 1st
